Greg grew up in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. He came to New Haven in 1999 to study at Yale. As a student, he began attending Trinity and got involved in the Night Runners homeless ministry. After graduation, he worked for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Yale, Wesleyan, SCSU, and Albertus Magnus for eight years, while serving as a deacon and later an elder at Trinity. Greg has been married to Jane since 2008 and they have three children, Nathan, Grace, and Hannah. They are excited to be part of what God is doing at Trinity and in New Haven. Greg's pastoral responsibilities include urban outreach, welcoming newcomers, and coordinating the staff. Greg received his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2011.
Matt Coburn has two children, Elliot (Eli) and Katrina (Katie). His wife Brandi went to be with the Lord in January 2015 after a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer. Matt grew up in Boston and Pittsburgh, was educated at Princeton University (BA 1991) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (1996), and then served in campus ministry for 15 years in the northeast and overseas. He first came to Trinity in 2003 as a member, served as an elder, and then was married in 2007 and went overseas 2008-2010 before returning to New Haven and joining the Trinity staff in 2011. Matt's pastoral responsibilities include overseeing Trinity's small groups, children's ministry, and college ministry.
